Training more focused during the Cycling lesson
Perhaps you’ve already noticed it during one of the cycling lessons. Our instructors are paying attention to heartbeat percentages and indicate the speed by the number of rounds per minute (RPM).
Why? To ensure that the training is a more focused one! One may want to do power training to strengthen the body or maybe an endurance lesson or an intensive interval training. In order to help you train in this manner, we need an indication of one’s heartbeat rate. In this was, we at Max try to help you train better and reach your personal goals.
There is a computer on every bike which indicates the RPM, the training time and the caloried used. In order to measure one’s heartbeat rate one needs a heartbeat “watch”. There are two models available for purchase at the reception desk. This month there is a special offer of a comfortable band with the advantage that one can change the battery oneself. These watches are also handy to use on the cardio apparatus in the fitness area. More information about the offer at the reception.
During the cycling lesson, there are special heartbeat zone cards available which are sorted in ages groups. Do you want to know what your maximum heartbeat rate is? Make an appointment at the reception desk with one of the trainers. If you want to continue training as you have been, without a watchband, that is certainly possible. The lessons will not be so different but have the potential to help you train better.
